Questions people ask first
Do I need to be home while you clean?
Most customers aren't. You can leave a key with us, fit a lockbox, or
let us in and head out — whatever suits. Keys are tagged by number, never
by address, and kept in a safe at our office.
What if I'm not happy with the clean?
Tell us within twenty-four hours and we come back and put it right at no
charge. If you're still unhappy after that, you don't pay for the visit.
We would rather lose one job's money than have you tell people we cut
corners.
Do you bring your own supplies?
Yes — cloths, machines and products are all ours, included in the price.
If you'd prefer we use something specific of yours, perhaps for a stone
worktop or an allergy in the house, leave it out and tell us.
Are the products safe around children and pets?
Our standard range is fragrance-free and non-toxic once dry, which takes
about twenty minutes. Say the word when you book and we'll switch to
plant-based products throughout at no extra cost.
How far ahead do I need to book?
Usually two or three days for a standard clean, about a week for a deep
or move-out clean. Fridays and end-of-month dates go first, so if you're
moving out, tell us as early as you can.
What happens if something gets broken?
We tell you the same day rather than hoping you don't notice, and we
replace it. We're insured for exactly this, and it comes out of our
pocket, never off your invoice.
Can I change or cancel a visit?
Yes, up to the evening before, free of charge. After that we ask for
half the visit's price, because the team is already committed to your
slot and can't fill it that morning.
How do I pay?
After the clean, not before. We send a link the same evening and you pay
by card or transfer. Regular customers are usually invoiced monthly.
